Enco Industries’ Government and Defense Supply Group (GDS) Awarded Prime Contract
Plaistow, NH, 2009 – Enco Industries’ Government and Defense Supply Group (GDS) is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a Prime Contract by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Supply Center Philadelphia.
The DLA contract requires Enco to provide a uniquely designed thermoformed translucent polymer cover designed to protect all shipments of mission critical equipment and supplies while being transported via land, air or sea.
This is an ID/IQ Prime Contract with firm-fixed-price task orders and has a one-year base period with four option years. The value of the Prime Contract is expected to exceed $6 million.
Enco Industries GDS was awarded the Prime Contract as a result of it’s offer having the best overall value to the Government. The Defense Logistics Agency recognizes Enco Industries substantial history of developing and manufacturing mission critical products, price competitiveness and extensive Government supply chain fulfillment.
Enco Industries GDS will be in charge of providing all military spec packaging, labeling,and logistics.
